What customers say?

“ A perfect place to unwind. Food is awesome, and their coffee is just right - not overwhelming (which I love). The overall vibe is great; it's a very charming spot to visit. ”

“ I love it here. The coffee is delicious although pricey (I paid $8 for an iced oatmilk latte with less milk). The blueberry scone I had felt like it came right out of the oven in grandma’s kitchen. Fantastic. My only comment would be about service. Both times I came they seemed quite overwhelmed. You can expect a wait time and if you come for opening you can expect a line. ”

“ Norah is the best in the area! Every visit leaves me feeling great. Their coffee and pastries are delicious, but I’m especially impressed by their grilled cheese sandwich. It is such a simple dish, yet nothing about it falls short. It’s just perfect. The place is always clean, and while the service could be just a tiny bit faster, it’s never an issue. They use a buzzer system, so you can relax instead of standing around waiting. Plus, the staff is super friendly! Finding outdoor seating on a nice day can be a challenge, but the indoor space is just as enjoyable thanks to the AC. The more I go, the more I love this place! ”

“ Very cute cafe with a nice view of the lake! Atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. The chipotle kimchi grilled cheese was soo yummy! The drinks were also good. We waited around 20 minutes to get our order but it was very much worth it! ”

“ A charming and cozy place with delicious coffee. I really loved the story behind the café’s name — it made the experience even more special ”

“ If you have some time and are not in a rush, we highly recommend dropping by this café. We went there on Wednesday around noon and, despite it being crowded, we managed to find a seat outside. The view overlooking the lake was tranquil, soothing, and refreshing. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks (there was a notice at the cashier mentioning a 10–20 minute delay from the time of ordering, so we were not caught by surprise). The drinks were worth the wait—we ordered a flat white and a hot chocolate, both rich in flavor and well-prepared. There were also gluten-free and vegan options for pastries and desserts. Overall, this is definitely a café where you can recharge after a stimulating day. It is also family-friendly and dog-friendly. ”

“ I’ve been recommended by some people to try this cafe and finally have a chance to visit this cafe to see. This cafe is amazing and so beautiful with a beautiful view. The atmosphere is relaxing and feels like home. The outdoor is also very good with the river view and the Oka area and hill. Almost all of their ingredients are local sources and their foods and coffee are all home made. Their pumpkin spice latte is amazing! They use real pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg to make it a little bit spicy and so far, the best pumpkin spice latte i’ve taste in Montreal and the surrounding. Their apricot croissant also good and tasty. The lineup can be a little bit long, but it’s worth it and I will be coming to this cafe again in the future. ”

“ Norad Cafe de l’Anse is a gem that feels like a warm embrace from the countryside. Housed in a charming, rustic-style home, the cafe boasts breathtaking views of the serene riverfront, offering a refreshing and tranquil atmosphere that instantly soothes the soul. The food is nothing short of delightful, with their grilled cheese sandwich - packed with flavor, it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The quinoa bowl is another standout, fresh and vibrant, striking a perfect balance of healthy and indulgent. Adding to the charm is a quaint little store showcasing unique, locally crafted artisan goods that are as heartwarming as they are beautiful. This cafe has quickly become one of my all-time favorites—a must-visit for anyone seeking a cozy, picturesque escape with exceptional food and a touch of local flair. ”
